Replacing number plate bulbs 2008 DB9 Volante

Have been looking through the old posts regarding the above subject.
I would like to swop them over to LED bulbs as I have done throughout the car which is a massive enhancement for around £10
The number plate light set up on the 2008 model is different from my old 2006 car and I was wondering if anyone has attempted to change their bulbs.
It does seem accessible from behind the rear boot panel covering as opposed to accessing from outside by trying to use the picky type tool that Rick posted a picture of and pulling it out of its mounting.
Be good to get the method from someone who has attempted this as once the correct procedure is known it will probably only take 2 mins

ps Desperatley looking for something to play with as golf cancelled due to snow as is taking the car out.
