Has any one replaced the flimsy alloy chassis
Cross member/ ladder at the bottom of the trany
Tunnel
For something more stiffer

mines not alloy on a 2001 MK2 cerb its made from steel

There was some made in stainless steel.

Mine is a heffing great steel thing too - either 1/8" or 3mm steel.

Mine's stainless, its a '97 R-reg car.

also steel, keep meaning to get one make in stainless, but nothing wrong with it, so may as well leave it.
