As the one in Stowmarket seems to be playing games, my attention is turned to this, just a little over my budget though frown Is it worth this price?

I know Andy, I bid £6000 last auction, outbid last minute (£6100), this time I've only bid to £5000, and as you can see someone has bid £6000.... I'm sure I'll be outbid again, and again, and again.... I'm sorry, just have a feeling something is a bit amiss ~shrugs~

I think the owner pulled the car as he wanted more than £6100 I bet if you bid £6750 you would win and its worth that all day!

Mmmmm, possibly, but then why set your reserve to £6000? (On last auction) I'll see how this auction goes, then contact him direct.... (saves eBay fees lol)

Hi

At 6750 against the yellow car (Ex Elvis) if I was in the market for one no contest. It's an original not messed about car so get bidding!

So, according to the ad', it's a 1989... 1986 'J' Reg car.

Always great to deal with careful and knowledgeable sellers. rolleyes

Nah, don't be daft, that's a thermostatic central heating radiator valve.

Sure, Wilwood makes these proportioning valves smile

Its a good one to have if your front brakes are not to their job and you keep spining the car while entering the corner and braking. With the valve you can restrict the pressure rear brakes get, and adjust the bias towards front.
But would you really need it in a non-race car...?

That and the other items mentioned is why I would buy the Blue Stowmarket car! Its a younger car, its done less miles, better original spec. and is at present only £6,000 if it could be purchase for less than £6,900 today it's more than a grand cheaper!

Reading that Stowmarket ad through again - just with what's said, how it's said and what he's looking to replace it with I still reckon he wants 8k and isn't going to let it go significantly less.

Watch it get pulled and relisted...

Well if he does the car will still be worth it, as £8k is about correct for a good 400SE and that I think is a good SE!

The best one for sale at present!

I can certainly vouch for the sound of this car, loved it when you can around to the inlaws.
