Dog toileting problem.

I've got a 2yr old mastiff and a 6month old dogue de Bordeaux pup. They've destroyed the garden and turned it into a mud bath so we've fenced off all the grass.

This has caused another problem in that the older dog now won't toilet outside, she just doesn't want to go on the hard ground. The wife is letting her onto the grass but that kind of defeats the object.

Any suggestions on how we teach her to toilet on the concrete instead of the grass?

Take them for a regular long walk to do their business

They get that. But she doesn't always go and still needs to at other times.

Walk her and the pup on waste land/feilds and keep at it.
They will learn.
