DB9 Volante - for softies

So I finally got around to taking my 2006 DB9 Volante - which I love apart from the agricultural suspension - to BR to do their stuff. Unlike Yeti who has had the same stiffening and switchable suspension fitted to his beast - I don't want to go faster I just want to travel in style and comfort most of the time and enjoy both the looks and the noise of a car that has more than enough power to frighten the hell out of me. Job done.The car now rides like a modern well damped sports car in comfort setting and is ideal for motorway cruising in comfort as I found out on my 5 hour drive back to Edinburgh. To my mind it also allows you to use the power far more easily and the car is much more at peace with itself. I haven't even tried the hard man setting yet - not sure I'll bother . So 5k buys you a new car in the colour scheme you like - the same as the dealers margin if you trade in for a newer car - so if you 're a softie like me speak to Mike or Adrian at BR.

Funny enough Hartley, I spend 80% at least of my time in soft suspension mode with the exhaust set to quiet

It does make it all the more incredible when I press those two buttons though... And unleash hell

When you do get on some smooth winding roads when the weather has warmed up... Do give it a try though, the change is quite amazing!
