How do you put an S6 engine into the Cerb ?
Discussion
Finally I got the engine in (from the top, having gearbox and gearstick attached). But it was a pain, either it touches the chassis at the starter motor, at the harmonic damper at the drivers side engine bracket or at the exhaust. Somehow, the engine has to be tilt, turned and moved forward all at the same time.
I didn't manage to get the engine in until I removed two screws from the drivers side engine bracket so I could turn that a little bit and it would just go underneath the chassis mount when moving the engine forward.
So, what is your experience and what is the right way of doing it ?
BTW, what kind of sealant (Loctite ?) should be used for the oil pressure sensors and where do I get shims with a plastic gasket inside ?

You might want to try the Speed 6 forum. You'll only get a 'snigger' here from the V8 owners...
Your right to post in here as you have a Cerbera this is not the AJP Cerbera forum, they have had plenty of experience removing engines as well, plenty.Edited by natben on Sunday 24th March 21:49
