I know this is the wrong forum but equally it's most likely to get an answer as there's a few people in here who might know.
Can anyone identify the camo type from this photo? It looks like type 99 to me but thats clearly not a chinese photo, i think it's from the middle east, it's been sent to me and google reverse image search doesn't give a hit.

Killed half an hour or so working this out, and I now consider myself vastly more educated on the camouflage patterns of the world!

Anyway, I'm pretty sure it's Kuwait.

1) The flags in the background
2) The British chaps to the left; we're fairly friendly with Kuwait. I think I've narrowed the stable belt on the first one to either Queens Royal Lancers or the Royal Artillery.
3) The amoeba pattern camouflage with the gold/yellow name patches:

It's the closest I could get anyway!

I'd say you're spot on, i thought the same but the chap in light blue/green camo kept putting me off.
It seems the british chaps may be something to do with our special forces as it appears there's now a daily mail article on it.
So it seems it's taken inside a British embassy.

He's only the commander I'd almost certainly say he never goes on any jobs if and when they happen.

Reading the article yesterday, they were talking about "round the clock protection".

Again, this was from the wail, so is probably incorrect..
