Had a bad day at work? Cheeky beers cheers you up.
Celebration? Oh yes bring out the beer.
Bored? Time for a pint.
Stressed crack out the beers.

Why? I have no idea but do all of the above.

I don't suffer next day but many do.
Drink most nights.

So why do we do it? I have no ides and i do.

I picked up a few mates Friday who'd been drinking all day. They stunk.
Was stopped by a road check and the cop stuck his head in the open window and said "I can smell alcohol sir. When was the last time you had a drink?"
"Erm, December 31st!" (I gave up NYE.)

That caused an uproar in the back, "Wheyyyyyaaaswooo"

hehe

I stopped completely 6 months ago, in part to break the habit of drinking every evening home alone - oops! Now im quite chilled and relaxed and not overly craving the stuff. I think come summer I might revisit drinking the odd glass of chilled white. We shall see!? smile

I go a few months and not a drop, then i go back on it. No idea why, but then i smoke too.
I know what it does for my health but still it occurs.

Before anyone says, i have a job, savings, pension and have never watched Jeremy Kyle or Dick and Judy.
