No. Only two wheels were over the line. It has to be all four wheels over the line for the overtake to be deemed illegal.

So at what point is the edge then because I was told its the white line which he went over and thats why he got a penalty last year

4 wheels over the edge, hence a penalty. He only had 2 wheels over the line.

Can you not read? FOUR wheels over the line and then there MAY be a penalty if there was an advantage. That was why he got a penalty last year. Today he did not have 4 wheels over the white lines, therefore no penalty at all.

At long last we have a race with some genuine scandal, and we are debating about a white line? Like anyone cares about that.

The story today reminds me of Villeneuve and Pironi in 1982, and I'm afraid Vettel has done himself no favours by saying he was deaf or whatever.

He should have just said he wanted to win, and got on with it, instead of apologising when there is nothing to be gained by doing that.
Mark Webber is a cool guy, and I wouldn't want to be faced with overtaking him in the same situation again if I was Seb.

It is easy to be critical of Seb, but he would not be the driver he is today if he was any different. We need strong characters in sport, and not a manners demonstration.

I think seb lost a lot of stock today. Hed have got away with it if hed had the courage of his convictions and not apologised and just said im here to win and thats what i did.
