Ultimate Diesel in a Range Rover Sport

I mistakenly put Ultimate Diesel in my 08 Range Rover Sport today and was very surprised at how smooth the engine was and the power gain under acceleration. This was over 350 mainly motorway miles. According to the trip computer, I also gained 2mpg over regular diesel but I would want to do more non motorway miles before going firm on this conclusion. Has anyone had similar results?

Ran my Sport on Shell Vpower. Very noticeable difference, quieter, more power, no smoke. Ann in all worth to me the extra 3 on fill up...

My take on super diesel is that it cleans only, no additives to gain power ? I would imagine you'd need a few tanks to notice any difference and would be on a dirty engine.

Unlike super unleaded which has a higher ron meaning an increase in power slightly.

I have to say when I put in bp ultimate diesel I could tell the difference straight away and I wasn't expecting it atall.

Same as others. Engine quiter. Smoother. Felt ''nicer'
