Porshe Weekend

Dunno what's happening yet but there have been convoys of them all day over here, I had to get home for my polishing kit whilst there was still light and the Tuscan is now gleaming, so much so you could shave beside it.
Now I need to go off in search of the convoys and steal a bit of their limelight, I know it's childish but I'm just not able to resist it.
There have been a few nice looking old models amongst them and when I came across some of them in the tunnel they were giving it big revs, I wish we'ed had a few V8s and carbon cans to let them know what beautiful engine rumble really is.

I used to have Cerbie a year or so ago and still like to check in every now and then. Just to see who's blown up recently... Seriously though you never know if Alex Smolenski picks up the baton I might even get another one.

Well, been out and about and the only Porsche I that passed was our local Centenier/Officer of the Law, this guy has more power than George Bush so you keep a low profile when he's about.
As this was the only day I've seen all these owners I am assuming that the're here for the weekend?
Still quite an impressive sight when you come across it though, and saddens me really, as we have a huge number of TVR's here, but never seem to find a suitable time to have this sort of getogether.

Hopefully I can have some fun Tomorrow?
