Back in the 90's, in my early days of Griffith ownership, I suffered a broken headlamp, so I'm aware of how vulnerable they are and I understand they are not readily available these days.

With a view to protecting the lights on my existing car, I've been looking at what was available. TVRCC sell the Carbodisks but they are for flat headlamps and my Hella's have a curved front. The car in question is a '96 500 and, as far as I'm aware, the lights are original. I have an old pair of Carbodisks so I know they won't fit.

Do any of you learned chaps have any suggestions?

Rgds, David.

We have some on the 500 which we've had for at least 6 or 7 years and they mould around the light and fit under the rubber band. They were from a chap called Steve Dunster who had a Griff in Middlesex and I think is still around on the forums??

I'd heard rumours about these and they are exactly what I'm looking for.

Does anyone know if they're still available? And if so, where from?

Steve Dunster where are you?

I managed to track down Steve's email address from an old PH thread but my mail came back undelivered. Can anyone help with his current details?

Thanks, David.

I experienced the same problem trying to make those Carbo things work on my 1996 500

Would also be very interested in some curved protectors
