Is it only me suffering severe withdrawal symptoms now John the 1949 Engineer's epic thread has finished?

Someone needs to step up sharpish and fill the void.

And this time I want to see :

- the block actually being cast, in the garage, using only household items
- chassis fabrication from scratch. Use of dexion tolerated.
- full body mould, without resorting to papier mache or plastic padding

I've just bought some Leven wiper arms and I'm toying with the idea of spark plugs and HT leads.

With my level of mechanical skill, I can assure you that the journey to completion will be an epic odyssey.

To get your mechanical taste buds salivating; I will introduce to you an ebay china-dremel-ripoff which cost me 3! I'll take close up pictures as it shines my window trim back to life...
