Concious that a few of you lucky gits are heading to Geneva and also to Mikeys Wales runabout does anyone have the stomach/excuse/desire for a D&D meet in April?
Or do we slate the next one for May
For sts, giggles and to ps off George I've started a poll. You can answer to as many as you like

What is it with Wednesdays??? Worst day of the week for me, every one of your dates is a duty handover day rolleyes

I have MDC (mysogynist dining club) next Tuesday, it's Rules and it's my turn to pay. I suspect leaving the D&D for a while might be good.

Plus it'll let Neil's blood alcohol get back down to close to the legal limit...

Are you >ever< going to turn up to one of these? George has been to two of them and he is rumoured not to even exist!

This is a fair point. How about one in the midlands, say Manchester? I'll find us a suitable pub there and all you poncey southerners can come up and have a shandy up north smile

Don't get me wrong Mikey....I LOVE London. I LOVE the crew that meet at the D&D.

It's just a logistical nightmare to organise frown

Easy for me.

1) Train there
2) Meet Nick at Euston so I don't get lost (or get ripped off by a taxi)
3) Consume a lot of cider
4) A burger
5) Repeat step 3
6) Either train home or get a hotel ready for train home next day and call it a business trip biggrin

2) Train to London
3) drinkburgerdrink
4) Train home
5) Explain to Karen where you've been and why you've accidentally come home in Mr Tom's tweed jacket...

The first off peak one (cheaper, I know you'd like that) gets you to Euston at 11:56. Perfect timing as I can get there for 12:12.

Returning off peak you can set off at 21:07 and arrive at 23:26.

£77.30 return. Might be able to get it cheaper with your senior citizen's railcard though smile
