You place your empties in the freezer to make refilling them much quicker and easier.
When i top up from other bottles i have the cold empty on the floor and a warmed bottle on the worktop sat in a pan of hot water. Works a treat thanks to pressure differential and gravity wink

In the car you need the bottles nice and warm to reach the optimimum operating pressure of 950 psi.

This can be a problem.
Ive been getting mine filled by a guy known as insane Ron near Waterlooville.

There are places and friendly drag racing types dotted about the country who will fill bottles.
Some do it as a business sideline and others just as favours.

If you get more serious then you can rent a big bottle that is delivered to your house and fill your own from that.
Another option is to have your bottle filled by courier but the return is obviously expensive.

Ive also had bottles refilled at Shakey. If you make requests on the right forums people often offer to help out or meet you at the usual places and either fill or swap bottles there.

It was a thought. Anything with trumpets and those voids gave me concern when injecting fuel with the nitrous into the plenum.
I now run a ported, blended trumpet base with the voids filled.

What ever happened to the friendly pub landlords getting the bottles?
