Due to being cash strapped I am thinking of MOTing and driving my Toyota to race meetings this year does any one know where I can get cheap road ins I can't see it doing more than 1k a year. I have seen some insures stipulate no roll bars. Ideas any one.

I drive my car to the track and am insured with Adrian Flux. Unfortunately the miles you run on the track will also count, but 5k should give you plenty.

Same here. I renewed it again despite not driving the car on the road as the track day cover works out cheaper than not having the road car insurance and having to pay for cover on individual track days (REIS again here).

Another recommendation for REIS here, although mine's a stage rally car (currently in pieces, waiting for me to put it back together).
