New on here, so hi to all...looks a great site, so I'll be adding to my favourites!
My DB7 V12 failed its MOT today due to worn lower shock absorber bushes. Can the bushes be changed, or is it time for full shockers? If it's shocks, is there a cheaper Jaguar part that I can buy? Appreciate any help you can offer....

You will find all the information that you need , plus a lot more on the AMOC site. Look under their Bloxham thread.

Thanks, I'll try that. New to Aston ownwership as well - can I view that before I become a member? Is the AMOC worth joining? Thanks for your help........

You can view a lot of the AMOC site as a non-member. I think you will be able to get the information that you require ok. I am a member of the AMOC and I think it is worth it, but there are many mixed opinions on here. It is not cheap to join.

Thanks F1. Think I will join up, it'll be a good way to get into events etc. What have you got? Treated myself to a 2001 DB7 in Sky Silver with light grey and black interior - I love it! Got a sports exhaust on it and it sounds like thunder. First Aston, but loving people's reaction to it...no jealousy like I've had with other cars, just a bit of respect for the car!

Hi, Had a look on the AMOC site under their 'alternative parts' sheet and all it says is Jag X300, but no part numbers etc. Sure that one of the XJS front shocks is the same as the DB7 Vantage, but want to make sure I get the right ones! Help!!

Click on the persons ID and you will find out all about them. Just move the pointer over F1 NDW. There are a lot of interesting characters on here so stick around and join in the fun.
Oh yes, A picture of your motor is required. It's in the rules.

I'll sort a good picture tomorrow. Love the Vanquish, my favourite Aston in my favourite colour. Nice.

F1 - what a top bloke, thanks. Please pass on my thanks to the guys on AMOC site - I still can't get logged on. Will try again tomorrow. If anyone has any other thoughts, I'd welcome them.......

Hi I'm the same, my newly purchased DB7 Vantage in Black is my first Aston Martin and as you say nothing but respect from everyone else including lorry drivers braking to let me out on the motorway and taxis letting me out from side streets.

Scotbox, it's amazing isn't it? Guys happy to approach and ask questions whenever I park up. Never had anything like it with Mercs or Porsches. Just need to get this MOT sorted and get her back on the road. So far though, I'm actually enjoying the car more than any other I've had - driving it turns into a bigger experience than in other cars, hard to describe really.......
