Don't think it was an option.

Porsche colours are related to spec not colour schemes. So yellow is ceramics, red is S and Turbo spec etc.

Don't think you could spec a particular colour. But a good bodyshop will do it for you

just been looking through the used cars on porsche uk site and have found a demo at OPC solihull guards red 2.7 boxster with red calipers they appear to be listed as an extra dont look body shopped-they do look better than the standard ones fitted -mine on my boxster 2.7 have faded with time.

There isnt an option on the configurator for red calipers but dealer configs do have additional options sometimes.

Try Tomas at Porsche Calipers, would be a better job than anything standard for OPC.

Dont forget if we are talking new vehicle here that if you paint them after purchase you can kiss goodbye to any warranty work on your brakes.

One of the guys on the Cayenne Diesel thread had his callipers repainted in yellow by the OPC's body shop - might be worth contacting him to ask how he managed it.

HI

That would be me, I bought my car from Porsche Reading and wanted yellow callipers, no problems, and a year on the finish is as new,

They painted the wheels too

Hope this helps

Thanks Saj. I did start wading through the thread again but could not find the right page to link to.

brake calipers in yellow look excellent, very good job indeed-was it expensive to have them done?
