Getting c205 miles per tank (£95), is this normal?
Seems a little low mate, although I don't take a note of mine. It's a 75ish litre tank, so I'd expect to get more than just over 200 miles, although it will depend of course on how you drive it. I'm getting about 16mpg from the trip, what does yours say ie does it tally with what you at actually getting? When I fill mine it says about 260 to empty, might be worth taking a note of that before setting off.

Depends on driving but honestly that is very low for a V8V If you drive around London all the time then probably right. A mix of town, fast road and motorway, no.My V12V does about that and that is if being driven in a spirited fashion.

Rich, in the DB9, the Volante tank is 20 litres smaller than the coupe due to the roof mechanism and packaging. I don't know about Vantage Roadsters but would be surprised to find this isn't the case as well.
If so, you have 20 litres less to play with
I'm always in a panic on a run out

Think in the Vantage they are the same in all variants - 80 litresRich, in the DB9, the Volante tank is 20 litres smaller than the coupe due to the roof mechanism and packaging. I don't know about Vantage Roadsters but would be surprised to find this isn't the case as well.

Just brimmed the tank c76 litres.
I have been driving in, let's say, a spirited fashion as my mate has bought a 1M and we are not in the slightest bit childish on every roundabout.
Trip says 12.5 mpg avg, can I expect better in comfort mode?
Good effort, if you are returning that MPG then the mileage is about right. I have to say that to get a V8 to average this, you must have been driving spirited a lot I have been driving in, let's say, a spirited fashion as my mate has bought a 1M and we are not in the slightest bit childish on every roundabout.

Would be interested in some feedback on what people actually manage to fit into their tanks and where the needle is on the gauge when they do
V12VR is averaging around 11.5 mpg for mostly fairly spirited driving
As Ian states, published tank size for V12VR is the same as all other vantatges, namely 80 litres, but I don't think it is unless they include the reserve tank
Yesterday, I filled up with the needle in the small area on the gauge below the red 'danger' zone but just above the line which effectively indicates zero/empty. This tied in with the 'range to empty' on the trip computer at the time of 18 miles, which I assume uses the 'zero point' on the gauge for reference in this respect
I got 66 litres in, including a little topping up in the header/filler area i.e. after the pump started clicking that it was full. If the 18 mile range represents 7 litres of fuel left (at 11.5 mpg) then that would take it to 73 litres, so probably equates to 70 litres from fuel empty on the gauge to fuel full on the gauge
So the question is, does the stated figure of 80 litres include a reserve capacity of 10 litres below the zero line, or do other vantages have 80 litres plus reserve capacity ? I seem to recall my V8s fitting more fuel in. Also, does anyone know how much fuel there is to play with once the fuel gauge hits zero i.e. in reserve ?
My concern is that it's bad enough that 70 litres gives just 180 miles but if you start looking for a fuel station at say 50 miles to go, as I tend to do, that's just 130 miles between fill-ups........

I typically show a range of 270-300 miles after filling up, mpg average is around 18ish according to the trip computer. Maybe I'm not trying hard enough..
