Were the English fans racist re Ferdinand?
Discussion
My thoughts are that the taunts were not racist see - http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/en...
Why would England fans sing about Anton? And the 'we know what you are' chant. Was that in reference to what Terry said to Anton and then got done for by the FA for?
The bit I do find offensive is the putting someone in a bonfire and burning them alive. That they happened to be black and put into context with the Terry Anton Ferdinand issue alongside the we know what you are chant. Well even if I don't think it was racist I can see why someone else might.
Regardless, yet again the FA's inability to respond with speed doesn't help.

As far as I can tell from the reporting, it's because nobody can find any actual recorded evidence of the singing of said song. The bit I do find offensive is the putting someone in a bonfire and burning them alive.
