i have ..its dire in comparison.!. and chivalry is even worse-!
this is really worth a go- weapon physics/ weighting/ tactics/ brilliant..

Can you give us a decent rundown mate?

I love these sorts of games and really enjoy M AND B but it got boring. Is this entirely online play and whats it run like online? I imagine there is a fair bit of lag and times etc?

graphically its leagues ahead of M /B not the best but very effective- they are tweaking the game a lot with new DLC- and a few cool game modes-
yes its totally online with up to 64 players online
Usual teamdeath match- Capture points and assault missions are available-

32 player games are virtually lag free for me- on UK / German servers-
Ive got a geforce 580- and its very very smooth-
Sound is fantastic- the voices/ Brian blessed and the noise when you hit/ slash and decapitate is hilarious.
(him shouting "slit their throats" or "resist / resist" - in his blackadder voice is fab- he has quite a lot of lines!)

I really like the weapon physics- its not perfect but the balance / pros/ cons are really smart- armour and perks etc also very variable
lances/ spears/ poles/ hammers/ clubs/ axes /swords/ one and two handed/ archers/ bows/ cross bows/ fire arrows/ horses (which are brilliantly done) with jousts/ daggers/ maces - all modifiables with pros/ cons - tons of cloths/ armour variations too.

Downsides- probably not enough maps -yet about 7 or 8
Upsides, - once you get into it- it is simply primal- i.e. the sense of killing is so much fun and to know you are doing it with swords and axes etc- makes it so satisfying
Well timed decapitations are also available- Or shooting someone in the face off a horse who is coming at you with a joust- is very well done from a timing pov-

When I first got the game I was getting murdered left right and centre- and thought I would just give up- but after a little while- Im now having so much fun-
Im basically addicted to this game like nothing else for a while!!

over 230 hours already clocked up-!

My advice is GET IT!!

How do you play out as sides? Is it more of a role play in the sense you make a character and fight for a certain lord until you make a new one or?????

No that side is not that well developed-

basically york/ lancashire- either squad leader or not-

to be fair the game is so frenetic and battles so intense that it doesn't need it-

wouldnt be surprised if something like that did appear though as it does seem to be developing quite a bit

Well im downloading it. At £15 for the full game its not much if it turns out to be junk or not my thing and if I love it then £15 becomes a steal!

Well its laggy as hell to be fair. People are infront of me one second then meters away the next. Is it always like that?
