Hi Marcus...They are from a sierra/granada and are the alloy ones not the pressed steel..They do sit better on the 2.8...I think originally they were from the 2.9 granny...Im looking into a set for mine to stop the leaky steel ones or get some silicone gaskets made up..They also have a small oil filler which would suit mine for the supercharger..I wont have to swap mine over...Putting N/S to O/S and vice versa...They are not frequently available so thats probably why they are so expensive...Ziga

Zig,

I can confirm that those covers exactly match my 2.8 Efi (EEC-IV) Granada Scorpio engine.
I think that 2.9 ones are different, but not sure....

Anyway, the main difference to earlier steel covers is that these alloy covers don't have that push in crankcase valve, just a permanent small hole - not sure how that would affect a K-jet system, perhaps it's too small a 'leak' to make much difference.

You might be right there mate..

There is a set like mine here marcus that have been chromed..They are double that to have chromed so not a bad price...

I would love a set of these but with TVR cast into them and either powder coated red or highly polished but again no oil breather..The filler neck is perfect for my S/C fitment though...

neither set would suit my engine. they are far too shiny. my bay is a pit of unMOTed darkness and oil and loose wires and pipes and alternately blinking pods. no. shiny things dont last long in there frown
for now anyway.

Dont be too down mate..It's taken me nearly three years to get mine like it is now and its still not exactly how i want it..I still have winky headlights when it suits them and my interior still hasnt been done..Mine is leaking oil where the guy who had the engine rebuilt didnt have the heads re-torqued and one of my exhaust manifolds is leaking again as the surface of the flanges are as pitted as an orange!..Share your problems with us mate..Its a shame you are so far from me as i would gladly come and give you a hand with it...I even have a set of wedge seats that i could borrow you to get you through the MOT...Chin up mate..Ziga
