Well while everyone is partying down in Cardiff, I had to return home, so it appears
I'm this first to pass comment on Power & Passion.
Much has been written and much more will no doubt unfold over the next few days,
but I wanted to thank the organisers on what was a difficult day for them.
We left for Cardiff this morning and had a wonderful journey across country to Wales,
really having some great fun with the Cerbera.
For myself and my family, we got a lot out of today and enjoyed it immensely with
the undoubted stars being Michael Caine, Kerry and his mighty Speed 12.
Review, video, photos and interview to appear on The Cerbera Register in due course.
Here is one shot of the beast to start you off.
Astonished to find my way into Michael's speech (I was the flag waver at Le Mans) and
it was great to meet up with so many from PH who I'd not met before so the day flew by,
in fact I ran out of time to speak to everyone I wanted to (sorry if I missed you!)
So thanks again to everyone, l just love TVR ownership!

I will second that! It was a sight to behold. So many TVRs in one place and all parked in a big circle. I must have walked around them all at least 4 or 5 times and each time I see something different with each of the cars. They may have all been TVRs, but it looked like there were 250(+?) <b>individual</b> cars out there!
My hat (possibly even the shirt off my back) off to the Colin, Simon and the rest of the team. To say that yesterday was out standing would be a pathetic understatement!
Its a pity you had to leave early. The evening celebrations were equally well executed and I cannot wait for the rumble through the city. With this many TVRs we sure will be making our own weather! Or at the very least it sure will "clear" our collective hangovers! <lol>

The Rumble was good fun ... OK, we seemed to have got a bit lost, however it was a great opportunity to take pictures of loads of TVRs going in all directions. And as for the actual rumbling itself! ... I sure hope the locals had double glazing! POP, POP .... BANG BANG!! ..... Heck, banging has never been this good!
(I think someone was singing the Benny Hill theme song during part of the drive to Cardiff Bay)
Once again the organisation team did us all proud! No faffing about or sitting in overheating cars. We arrived, parked up and headed for the high ground to take loads more pictures! As planned the two Sunday Drives departed and those of us who did not sign up for the drive out wandered around the bay and took in the sights.
We are now in Carmathen to sink a few more bevvies before the track day of tommorow. Mind you, hope the weather is better tomorrow. The drive down was little bit wet, a little bit windy and a little bit sunny .... all at the same time!
Thats about ... Next short update will be tomorrow ... Assuming I have not checked into the local hospital or something!

Hi there was a P&P was pretty good exclent turn out!!! really enjoyed the rumble jus a shame it wasnt longer!! god i wish i could have been a spectator too coz it must have sounded amazing when we all pulled off we were in the yellow 3000M was a good weekend not at the track 2mo coz gotta work but thanx to every one for a good weekend!!!! went out last nite too in cardiff

Just like to thank everybody who came to Cardiff this weekend. I've never had so much fun watching all the different colours and models going past my window (I live next to the stadium)... and the sounds... "window rattling"....superb!
Special thanks to everybody who stayed in the Holiday Inn next to the stadium. It was great to be woken up on Sunday morning by the rumbling and thundering in the car park and then to look out and see all the TVRs warming up. Much better than ANY alarm clock!!!

BTW Joined a mini convoy this morning: 2 or 3 Tuscans and a white 350 wedge. Put a big smile on my face even though I knew you were going off to play... and I was going to work.

The Treasurer of the TVRCC informed me there were 270 vehicles on the Saturday. Our South Yorks RO counted 240, so somewhere in-between?
The South Wales region run to Llandrindod Wells on Sunday was tremendous & I would like to thank them for organising this, choosing such a good lunch venue & sorting the weather for us all.

hmmm....well, I have to say that I was dissapopinted...and now I've seen the pics from Sunday, even more pi$$ed off....
Went to the Stadium on Saturday with my 2 kids, plus one of their friends. Expected to see the cars "in the stadium" only to find them all parked in the corridor underneath the stands "300 TVR's all under one roof"....hmmm It was publicised as being an excellent venue because of the stadium's roof implying (at least to me) that the stadium itself was going to be used...
So anyway, we walked around, looking at the cars then I thought well at least they have some "children's entertainment".....nothing! Did I miss that as well?
So, off we went to pizza hut!
It was certainly nice to see all the cars and useful to see all the different variations as a prospective purchaser. But I have to say that it really didn't live up to the pre-show hype......maybe I expected too much??
Now if I had known where the rumble was going to be....how could anyone find out?.....then I would have been down to see it. No publicity seen or heard locally....in fact heard on local radio station on Sunday morning "can anyone tell us whether there is a TVR show going on...?"
No, I'm not moaning, just making some observations...I'm sure it was great if you were involved (can't see how it wouldn't have been) but it would have been nice to have had the chance to spectate etc.
I'm really pleased that you guys enjoyed your visit and that for those who were part of the event it was obviously a success....just seems a shame that it wasn't the same for "visitors".

"over 270" in the Stadium, and "200 or so" on the rumble - according to TVR CC Website
I stand corrected - whatever it was a bit like Gang on the Green, so many TVRs you couldn't really take it all in.

I won't say much other than the use of the Stadium was the original plan. Unfortunately the TVRCC only found out at the very last minute this was not possible. The parking arrangements had to be arranged at the very last minute.

To provide a balancing point of view here, you can't really publicise these things too much. You need to control who turns up and that's a very difficult thing do this on the public roads if an event is organised on local radio. I appreciate that you'd have loved to see this, but hopefully you can understand the dilema that an organiser faces, in trying to keep away an element of society that could ruin such an event.

270 (or so) TVR's all in the car park of the Millenium Stadium? Not even inside proper? This cost £50? And you received a schoolbag and a DVD?
Glad I didn't make the effort.
I'm sure those that went enjoyed it, but they actually charged people to come and look round the TVRs? Rip off!
Why couldn't there be a meeting somewhere where there was something going on? For example Duxford, Beaulieu? Not suggesting those locations particularly, but you get the point?
