Hello!
I'm moving home shortly and i'm looking for a new TV.
Size wise im looking for a 42" and im not that bothered about 3D. I am however quite interested in some of the Smart TV features
The majority of the usage will be TV and Film (HD and non HD) but i will have an xBox connected.
I have found the Panasonic TXL42E6B which is £750 at richer sounds. Is this a good set or is there anything better for my cash?
Thanks

Just bought this for 380 on amazon.... lg 42LM3450
It doesn't have smart features ( you can get a small external box to add them for 80? Quid) but I didn't need them as I use xbmc. The picture is amazing, the 3d is very very good too. Wasn't interested in 3d at first as I thought it was a gimmick bu really enjoy it.

One annoying thing about my new LG42LM670. The HDMI inputs are on the far right of the tv as you look from the back, but too close to the edge and the leads go in horizontally. You have to curve the cables round to go back behind the tv so the bend in the cable sticks out beyond the body of the tv, so you can see them from the front. Really annoying. I have an LG flatscreen upstairs too and that's about 5 yrs old and the hdmi leads go in vertically from the bottom, so much better.
But picture wise, an amazing smart tv for the money.

Update on my HDMI input issue, it turns out have spoken to someone with a brain that this tv is built for the fitting of Sanus HDMI leads, and they fit without sticking out. But....at around £25 a pop and 3 devices to input, it'll have to wait. Added to my xmas list!

I had a similar issue with a small Sharp TV I bought for my bedroom. The TV is clearly made for wall mounting however the aerial jack sticks right out of the back of the TV. Whilst wall mounting it I bent, and came within a whisker of breaking, this because I couldn't work out why it would not fit.
Ended up having to take a hole out of.the plasterboard to accommodate it!!
