What I find bizarre is the section of the article on roadsters which makes the Tamora sound utterly cr@p. Then in the conclusion/final they say there was 'a good case for taking the TVR over the Boxster'. It reads like a blatant contradiction to me.
They also say criticising the Tamora's build quality is, "like shootgin fish in a barrel - too easy" and yet I've heard nothing but good reports. Anyone who owns a Tamora care to comment?
They also fail to mention that the TVR is almost as fast as the 911 Turbo in a straight line and don't say how quick it was around the circuit compared to the other cars. From what I have heard about the Tamora (haven't driven one myself) the handling is fantastic and with that kind of power I find it difficult to believe a Boxster could beat it round almost any circuit. Again, anyone who has driven a Boxster and a Tamora care to comment on this?

We've recently covered journalistic reliability elsewhere -- why let the facts get in the way of an easily written article based on accepted wisdom research that won't offend any of the manufacturers that actually have to advertise their products?
btw, has anyone actually tried shooting fish in a barrel?
'btw, has anyone actually tried shooting fish in a barrel?'
The refraction would make aiming very difficult (try putting a ruler halfway into water at 45 degrees and you'll see what I mean). I think he meant 'rats in a barrel' which is easier. Or maybe the buggers move faster than fish do. If you put water in as well, then it would get harder. Until the rats drowned of course, when they'd all float to the surface and stay still. But then as they'd be dead there'd be no point in shooting them anyway. Unless you just wanted to make a loud noise, in which case you only need the gun, not the barrel, the water, the fish OR the rats...
