Downhill bike for sale?

Strange request chaps...

I am back in the UK for this weekend only and i am coming up short trying to locate a downhill bike for sale. I have tried fleabay and gumtree but no one comes back when i request more information.

So, if any of you have a downhill bike you have been thinking of selling then please let me know. I am willing to pick it up anywhere within 100 miles of Guildford, Surrey. Budget - 500gbp approx

Im not bothered how old it is, anything post 2000 is fine. From scanning ebay and gumtree there are some about in my price range

Managed to get a Specialized Big Hit DH. 120 mile round trip at 6am this morning to meet a guy finishing his nightshift paid off.

Done well for your budget. I guess you checked it's legit ?
Make sure that seat post doesn't foul the coil on full compression. Might be worth sawing it down a bit

The guy although he appeared to dodgy knew enough about the bike for him to be an enthusiast rather than a bike thief.

Bushing appear to be very good, as do the forks / rear shock. Ill probably order a bush kit and give it an overhaul for its 10th birthday when i get it home

Its booked on our easyjet flight back to Munich tonight. Once the snowmelts me and a friend are spending our free time in Leogang in Austria and anywhere else we can find in the alps near us.

Its now time to find a full face heltmet and some armour on crc or ebay.

Went to all 3 a few years a go, all have ski lift or cable railway access in the summer.
And in switzerland you have Verbier.
But the summer alps spot has to be Morzine in France!
