Better rear lights

Anyone upgraded or made better the rear lights, mine are as intended , earths good and everything , they just don't seem to visible judging by now three ! near misses from the backside.
Has anyone fitted extra or alternatives ?

I know what I was going to look into fitting these but they wont be a direct replacement. http://www.s-v-c.co.uk/product/ultrabright-inner-l... mean rubbish aren't they! I've just left my battery to go flat as left mine on all day!!

Friends following me remarked how dull my rear lights are and they to are up to the mark. Are there higher wattages availble? Mines a mark 2.

I shouldn't have commented as they must've heard me.....they've stopped working altogether now!!! I wonder if its related to me taking my dash out and the lights in that now not working?? mmm.....
