Hi all
With the ever increasing insurance premiums
Has any one used one of the advertised advanced
Driving courses

Aimed at tvr's and sports cars
I've noted that you can get a 20% discount
Off your insurance and then it said with Adrian flux

Now I've always found Adrian flux expenceive
The point I'm making do you get any discount
With other companies
And are the courses worth paying the cost
As to finding how your car drives on the limit safely
Any thourts welcome

I did a Ride Drive course and Mannings gave me a discount just like Flux would have done.

Didn't even ask for proof of doing the course.

MSM used to give a discount to club or PH members (they will check!).

Flux was always good for a laugh, never anywhere near so I don't even bother now

Notwithstanding any insurance discount, the RideDrive courses are so worthwhile.

The honest critique of your driving, and then ways to improve 'progress' make it the best performance enhancement I've done.
Worth doing the 'track' session too, as you get to drive the car at it's/your limits and learn how to recover in these circumstances.
