My wife had a drive of it yesterday. Not sure whether I'd be comfortable in letting her go out in it alone though confusedscratchchin

Interested to know whether others on the forum let their other halves drive their P & J? Do they have any desire to drive it or do they preferred to be chauffeured around like my wife? smile

Only if he's been good, do I let him go out in it on his own.

Wifey only drives me back from the pub. She is really scared of doing something bad to it and won't go out in it alone. Seems like the perfect arrangement! wink

Ha ha. Let's hope Mrs G has an urge to drive that DBS soon smile

I'd like The soon to be Mrs J to drive it more often. Last time she did was in Corsica:

I think the footprint in the middle of the passenger side carpet is still there biggrin

Saying that, this was pre-fitting of diamond turned SP wheels and if she curbed one of them, the wedding could be off!

She's asleep most of the time I drive, it's really quite a talent. It's like when C3PO shuts himself down in Star Wars.

Maybe my driving style needs to be less Jockers and more Cockers...

My wife drove the first Vantage we had but since then seems to be happy in the passenger seat - and I'm not arguing. wink

She likes the car but doesn't like the attention! Last time she drove the v12v by herself she had a car full of lads follow her for miles.

Nice knob Adam, look forward to seeing it in the flesh in Wales smile

On topic Mhairi never had the inclination to drive the V8 and under a bit of pressure from me she tried the V12. It terrified her so I think that book is now closed. yes

She won't although I'd be happy for her to drive it! It's a simple car to drive on the open road, she's just worried about manoevering it in town frown

My wife does not want to drive my V8 Vantage, but she is insured to drive it because the insurance costs less that way!

I often come home to find my Vantage missing and her horrible little MINI Convertible there instead. At first she didn't want to drive it but after a taste of the attention the car gets, she's out in it almost as much as I am.
