Renaultsport Megane 250

Hi folks, been lurking a long time on here so thought I'd introduce myself by posting a thread on my current weekend motor. I say weekend as I only use it on my days off as I cycle to work. Never bought new before but took the plunge and ordered my Renaultsport 250 late in 2010 and took delivery in March 2011, in the past 2yrs I've done 6000mls!









Made a couple of little mods, including a scorpion sports exhaust system and carbon fibre mirrors and door pillars.

Hello mate, no not yet. Got a day at Croft planned for May with the IAM where they give you tuition as it'll be my first thought that a good idea!

This car looks really good, the canon fibre looks like factory fit and really sets the car off. Personally I think the recaros are a must but do really like those seats with the yellow inserts.

Very nice, Cup Chassis and 19's would be top of my list on one too!

You have visibility pack too?

Did you try Recaros and not fancy them or were they not on the cards?

Yeah she's got every option bar glass roof and Recaros, just didn't find them as comfortable and prefer the comfort of heated and electric memory seats, must be an age thing at 40 lol!

Yes mate, good it is too! Like a different car when you switch it on and change the throttle settings, exhaust pops and bangs and is more responsive.

I agree. It's a great thing. Banging it though the gears in extreme mode is ace fun.

No but I have been very lucky to drive a few of different specs so I know yours is bang on spec (bar Recaros which would have been my choice, but I understand your thoughts on not having them!)

I will have one in a few years when they're within my purchasing power!

Those seats look the absolute dogs dangles!!! Id love a crack in one!!! Very near the top of my shopping list in a few years as I will need the extra seats then!

Very nice motor OP you are a top lurker! I had a little bit of fun with a megane R26 running 280bhp the other day in my M3 & I was massively impressed with how quick it was, these are such capable machines & I can easily see why they win hot hatch group tests so easily! Enjoy.
