Well ive sold my 13 year old racing puma for a brand new fiesta st2 in molten orange, cant wait to get it as all the reviews ive read have been very positive. Will also be the first turbo car ive had which will be an interesting new experience for me.
Went for all the options including sat nav, climate control, tyre pressure monitors and style pack which is dark grey wheels with red calipers and illuminated scuff plates, and also gone for the matching molten orange interior trim which looks awesome in my opinion.
Only problem is ive got to wait a month for it to arrive but it will look just like this one.

Seen a few new Fiestas about - that grill looks better in the metal than the photos!

Quite like the look of these... EVO rated it quite highly - be interest to see what you think in comparison with the FRP.

I cant imagine itll have as much grip as the frp but itll make up for it with the extra 50bhp and increased torque figures.
Thats all the frp really lacked is grunt but it kept up with numerous faster cars including a porsche 911 on the twisty back roads!

Enjoy it OP smile give us a review on it!

I couldnt justify selling my mk1 ( sounds so old saying that now ) fiesta ST, spent too much time and effort on it for it to be worth so much less now, seems at the moment people are waiting quite a while for them to be delivered!

If ford had one as a demo though i wouldnt turn down a test drive to see how they compare.

Molten Orange does look very good in the sunshine!

My mate picked up his Spirit Blue yesterday and it looks really good, he is over the moon with it as well. I pick my Frozen White one up on Friday and I cannot wait, longest two days ever.

i really fancy one of these to compliment my Mk 1 FRS and 4x4 Sapph.

Was contemplating molten but seeing the photos here doesnt look as orange as i expected. Spirit Blue is gorgeous but you cant get the molten recaros with that colour so looks like a black one if I decided to get one

Its not a bright orange and no photos do it justice but this is my best pic of mine so far.

When I saw the concept for this I thought it looked awful and that Ford had made a big mistake. While I'm yet to see one in the metal, it has definitely grown on me. With the pricing and the reported dynamics I'd say Ford have stolen a lead in this segment.

Looks lovely in the colour you've chosen in particular.

Congrats on the new purchase! I know a lot of folks over on fiestastoc are waiting impatiently for theirs.

I spotted a new ST for the first time today and the photos really don't do it justice. The one I saw was in spirit blue.

I'm tempted to trade my mk6 fiesta st in for one of these but I'm torn between that and a mk2 focus ST.

I test drove one the other week and was very impressed with it , I think it will be a tuning company's delight and will easily make 230 bhp .
Think I go for a white one , but yet to see one in the flesh , all blue and orange so far that I've seen .

Dont get a white one! Half the cars in the uk at the moment are bloody white!

Anyway had it a couple of weeks now and still thoroughly enjoying it, only small gripe i have is the paint match on the front bumper which is getting sorted next week under warranty.
Other than that i love it, engine is so torquey and sounds lovely on full throttle thanks to the "sound symposer" pipe which runs from the engine into the cabin. Its certainly turned a few heads here in York as ive been driving her around, very good on the twisty roads too, better than i expected to be fair id go as far as saying it grips as much as the old FRP did just with that bit more oomph!
Seats are bedding in nice and comfy now and they really hug you if your an "average" sized man smile
Even managed to get the giant icandy pram in the boot and child seat in the back thanks to the isofix brackets as standard but wont be doing it often as the missus' focus is the family bus really.
Getting around 35mpg out of it which is a lot better than the FRP, havent worked it out exactly but the FRP did just over 200 miles on a full tank and the new fiesta is doing around 330 to a tank so big improvement with tanks being similar size.

To sum up its bloody awesome, a perfect little daily driver smile

Personally I'd leave the front bumper colour , it looks the same sort of paint as a 3 stage pearl which is a nightmare to match , just look at the ug RS focus .

35 mpg , thought these booked at 49 , not much better than my RS then really .

It is a three stage pearl yes but i work in a ford dealer bodyshop so can sort this easily, mpg has crept up to 40 now that the engines run in a bit more, anyone getting anything over 25mpg in a focus rs is not driving it properly! You dont buy an rs or st model with fuel consumption in mind!

Lol just cuz it's a performance car doesn't mean it's got to be driven like you stole it , I tend to look after my cars

Good luck with the bumper .

I look after my cars aswell as a bodyshop man but if you aren't going to use the car to its potential then you may aswell buy a 1.0 ecoboost fiesta and drive like an old woman!
