May pop down and do a few laps in the evening session. Looking like it'll have stopped raining by then but still be greasy on track. Make sure to say hello to the guy with the blue MR2. smile

Great evening and very slimy on track. First time at Brands and loved the track - Paddock Hill is sharper and steeper than it looks!

And does anyone on here own the Tuscan / know someone who owns it? Was the driver (/passenger) ok?

don't know them but father and son were fine and as I left they were chucking the bonnet of the Tuscan in a pick up truck

Glad to hear. Shame about the car though, just saw it as I was leaving the track. They certainly weren't the only ones who took a detour today.

Had a very enjoyable time there tonight - Thanks very much for the ride round the track, James. As it happens I think I have a photo of you and rossi1 together (thats if you were in the 328i I trust?)

Not great I know - still trying to get used to the thing! wink

Also phil1967 - you may have had your off on the same lap as my passenger ride in the MR2 - was it just after Paddock Hill Bend was it?

What happened with the Tuscan? Did it crash? Will be a great shame if it did, though if Im honest it's hardly ideal conditions for such a car frown

Yay must first PH spot! biggrin Real shame about the TVR - that must have happened just as I was leaving! (coming to think of it I did see ambulance(or police?) flashing lights in the pit area as I left - but thought nothing of it.

Noticed yours too and I think you saw me when I emerged from a garage onto the pit lane.

I don't doubt you! As I said we passed you just as you were pulling back onto the track, a properly scary place to go off!

Had a great day! Loved the slippery track! The Aston was a lot of fun, although the guy I was instructing certainly found the conditions a bit challenging for his first time at the track.

There was some horrendously slow driving!! Almost dangerous at times! Good day though and was surprised by the low amount of stoppages!
