I am a total novice in this area.
can i chip a Nissan GTR 2011 ? how would it effect the 0 - 62 ? Would it effect my warranty ?

The warranty is effected as soon as the vehicle is registered. 0-62 is effected by putting one's foot down from a standing start.
Would you mind taking a photo of a tin of Birds custard on you dashboard with the keys in the ignition please? Thank you. wink

By chip if you mean remap then it will definitely affect your warranty. However, depending on who you go to and which HPC it is you might find they will be more understanding.

There are no "chips" that I know of but you can have the standard ecu remapped or fit an aftermarket one. I too am awaiting a pic of the birds custard.

Just have a wonder round the site. A vital source of info if considering one mate. I know I did a lot of reading before taking the plunge.

Oh, and its recaps now mate, not chips ; ) A re map (£600 if Ecutek) will give you around 570 brake. 0-60 isn't really changed as its a lady stupid quick on a 2011 but the 0-100 and drivability will be massively changed ; )
