Mine has them taken this from the blog the prev owner did on car. Google woodys Tvr, but in short he complained about the rear of the car bouncing...

" was really quite easy, well it was after I found some initial settings on Pistonheads.com. These initial settings refer to the number of clicks towards plus from full minus setting and the distance the spring retaining collar is screwed onto the barrel of the shock, measured from the bottom of the thread.
These settings are not to be taken as the correct ones for all cars and preferences but they are a good starting point, at least they will get you to your favourite dealership or indie garage for a proper set up.

So the settings I used are;
Rear: 18 clicks, 35mm.
Front: 12 clicks, 25mm"

I assume they didn't change from this as i never adjusted them and rides ok.

Very useful, thanks. I'm happy enough with the ride on my car, but mine sits way too high at the back, so I'll drop it down when I get a chance.

I've never messed with them before, but I assume you just jack it up, whip the wheel off and adjust the collar nut with the spanner, yes?

Must be a bit lary with those settings, thats very hard at the back end. I have always run the rear slightly softer than the front, gives better grip at the back and I find the balance of under/over steer to be very good. I have tried higher at the rear but it just kept wanting to step out.

My settings - Front 14 Rear 12.

ETA clicks from soft and yes I know I should adjust back (-) from Hard not forward (+) from soft, I just cant seem to get predictable results when going from full hard backwards.

ETA: These settings proved very good at Bruntingthorpe and I was able to keep up in the twisties with some much more exotic/modern cars.

Ahh I thought the back end stepping out was because of my heavy right foot!, crap suspension set up,, phew!.

I think mine feels light at the front, when " making progress" perhaps that's because the rears are too hard?

My understanding is harder rear promotes oversteer hard front gives more understeer. As its a powerful rwd it can be tricky finding the over/under balance that suits you but i personally prefer to dial out as much unwanted oversteer as possible.

I did have a lot more clicks on at one point , turned out the springs were saggy and i was trying to compensate by winding up the dampers. The handling was truly scary! New springs and a service for the dampers and all good now.

Do you have standard 15f 16r wheels and what pressures are they set at? I find that even a few psi makes a huge difference to the handling and i am only an average driver (not a ph driving god)

Yep same here 14f 12r, even softer if doing alot of 30mph driving. Just like a normal car push on body and you'll soon see how hard it is, 18 on the rear my car won't budge when pressed.
