I've just had an idea.

Whilst looking at Google Streetview recently I couldn't help but notice that the light at the time the camera car drove past where I was looking was very good and the images looked great.

It got me wondering if any of you chaps with an eye for a good composition could find any really nice 'photgraphs' that the camera car managed to capture as it has driven around.

Here are some examples of what I'm talking about (hopefully you can do better).

https://maps.google.co.uk/maps?q=Giggleswick&h...

In order to get the link to the image you need to click the link button towards the left hand side and copy the link, the one in the address bar of your browser probably won't work properly.

Reminds me of this I came across a while ago. Don't think they've been edited after streetview.

Nice link.

That's the sort of thing I was after, but by posting the Streetview links we could see that they were genuine.

Ok, here's a proper one.

Found this whilst checking out the Stelvio - comes complete with perfect timing pose from the girl in the picture. Was she posing for street view or the person behind the sign to the left, we'll never know.

I've seen lots of penguins on Antarctica too! (Note the cursor changes to a penguin too)

It's been removed now, but there was one of a hooker (presumably) giving some bloke a handjob under a railway bridge. biggrin

in fact if you Google Images "hooker handjob streetview" you can see it!
