I have a Philips matchline pixel plus 27" tv which stands in my garage since I swapped it for a 42" flat screen.

I did this before the digital switch over, could the old CRT tv still be tuned in.

i think the terrestrial signal has been switched off . you cold still connect it to another source though . sky , virgin etc , even a freeview box is fairly cheap and should work

As above external tuner is needed sky,virgin, freeview or freesat.

Does the TV have a Scart in or video in? You'll need this for most Freeview boxes. Do you have Sky in the house? If so you could run a feed from that, then watch Sky in the garage.
