Recommend me a decent Decanter please?

I am after a decanter mainly for whiskey or wine & have spotted these two.

This is by far the nicest, most beautiful and lovely to use decanter I have ever had a glass poured from, but it ain't cheap. Stunning IMHO.

Cheap n cheerful but I like the simplicity , although on reflection, it does look a little laboratory in comparison to the others.

Personally , I think for spirits a good old Ships decanter , takes some beating :

For wine, a claret jug has prescence. particularly at a formal table, IMHO :

At the end of the day its all down to personal preference, and of course decor. No need to spend large amounts of cash if need be, a decanter is a low tech thing, they all do the same thing at the end of the day .
Incidentally, John Lewis do, or did a nice range, worth looking up.
