Surfing on e-bay tonight, and you can buy remote brake servos for classic cars. Just wondering if anyone has successfully fitted one to a Defender 200TDi clutch? They are only about 60 quid. My only concern would be whether there was enough throw to operate the clutch properly.

Err, because I've got nothing else to waste my money on!! Why do you think? Err, the clutch is very heavy and my missus doesn't enjoy driving it.

Fair enuf, just asking as depending on the reason, there may be other alternatives... tongue out

No experience with them but have you compared your clutch with other cars to make sure there isn't something wrong?

Do a 'Search' on Google 'defender assisted clutch pedal'. Not an unusual topic on LR forums.

Funnily enough, mine is apparently a lot better than other people who have tried it compared to theirs!! I have got used to it but the good lady finds it hard work.
