After a few issues upgrading my megasquirt from fuel only to wasted spark I got the car running yesterday. Haven't been out for a drive yet, but even in the garage the engine starts and idles much better than it did on the dizzy.

I've now got a bit of tidying up to do in the engine bay. I've removed the distributor, coil and ignition module and am left with about 2 ft of wiring loom to remove. I'm assuming that this can all be removed leaving the following wires to be terminated in the engine bay:

Blue/White - Ingnition live from ECU
Black - Ground to Engine Block
Balck/White - Coil -ve input to Rev Counter.

I will need these later to connect a tach fix moduel to convert the ECU tacho output to work with the existing rev counter.

Also wondering what to do about the vacuum advance pipe connection on the plenum, any recommendations for blocking this off.

Next job is to install my new 30lb injectors prior to a RR and Mapping session.

My method is to heat it up & pull the stub out altogether. The run a M5 tap down the hole, thread seal + screw of choice finishes it off.

Or drop a blob of solder into the end of the nipple and file level for a neat finish.
