Leven washer upgrade

Just fitted my Leven washer upgrade for the wipers. Sooooooo much better than the original rubber pipe (in looks and effect). £13 very well spent. I'd really like to find a wiper blade for the near side thats better designed to fit the curve of the screen, anyone found one?

Yep, got the kit fo mine a few weeks back, bloody marverlous it is.

Not sure about the wiper, have you tried a bit of gentle persuasion?

PIAA do a curved wiper blade. Damned expensive though.

The Bosch ones from Halfwits are useless. I'm trying to find some Champion ones as they seemed to work best.

I replaced with the Bosch ones and they are crap .... The arms are so much thicker than the orginals they soend half their time halfway up the screen.

I'm tempted to spend the money and get the curved ones at the bottom of this page:

I seem to remember they are around £18 each!

Failing that, I might see if I can locate some worn out originals and just replace the rubber blade bit.

See the wiper thread on General TVR (www.pistonheads.co.uk/gassing/topic.asp?f=13&h=&t=126139) - I don't think the 18s can be cut down, but I am actively pursuing getting curved 16s from PIAA to fit tivs. Currently PIAA UK are making enquiries with the Japanese side of the firm on my behalf. If you think you'd interested - sounds like you would - please say so.
