Short term 2 day car insurance?

Need to get a Tiv home,anyone suggest a resaonable car insurance that will cover a weekend.

Most dont do it and cheapeast so far is £74

Have a word with your existing insurers. I needed to get a car back home and mine gave me cover for free! If I needed paperwork, it was £10 to cover admin.

Not sure who it was but when I bought my car, one of the insurers (Aviva I think) gave me 7 days free cover with my HPI check. That was a while ago though...

when the company I worked for went under, and their insurance no longer covered the company car I short term insured via aviva for a week at a time (agreement with leasing company that it was ok to do this)..... wasn't a cheap option though

I've tried to do this a few times and have never found anyone who will touch it. If you do find anyone let me know though as it would be useful for future use!

Much easier to get it trailered back - there are lots of companies who either rent trailers very cheaply, or will do it for you (google lizard logistics, he's a PHeader and nice chap to boot). Failing that, I'm picking up my new trailer in about a month from now so if you're not in a hurry I could pick it up for beer tokens.

I may be wrong here, but with most of the main stream insurers, you've got 7 days to cancel/change your mind.

They'll obviously charge an admin fee, it's just a case of finding who charges the least I suppose.

Try a PAYG monthly insurer.

2 days insurance is often more than a policy for a month.
