Went out and got a PLAY 5 and a BRIDGE yesterday and quite impressed.
SO would I be better getting a CONNECT AMP and using it with a set of Mission speakers we already have or spend a bit more and get 2 PLAY 3s as a good stereo setup?
I think a PLAYBAR when I move house.
A connect amp and any pair of half decent speakers will sound better than a pair of PLAY 3s. There's nothing wrong with the sonos speakers for the money, but a decent pair of speakers will sound much better.SO would I be better getting a CONNECT AMP and using it with a set of Mission speakers we already have or spend a bit more and get 2 PLAY 3s as a good stereo setup?

I agree. I run a pair of Play 3s in my kitchen and they sound great for what they are, but it is a £500 set up and that money would buy a lot better sounding amp and speakers. I just like the fact they are totally wireless apart from the power cables.I was really impressed when I got my PLAY5, great bit of kit and surprisingly good sound quality. I use a ZP90 (CONNECT - Non-Amped version) and a set of Kef Floorstanders via an Onkyo amp. It's significantly better than the PLAY5 so if you already have the speakers, I'd be inclined to go down this route.
Agree with what has been posted here already. My current set up is a Play3 in the kitchen, Play 5 in the bedroom and a Connect in the lounge which hooks up to the Amp and Speakers I already had. Gives you everything you need without making the old kit redundant. As has been said, the Play units are great for the convenience and connectivity, but a good amp/speakers set up will be better quality - the connect just allows you to make it part of the network.
