I think 188 quid for these is great value, good tyres the f1s. http://www.oponeo.co.uk/tyre-details/goodyear-eagl...

That is a very good price as they were just over £200 a few weeks ago, never seen them under £200 anywhere in the last few months. I have run these tyres on my M5 for the last 4yrs (the 1's not the 2's) and i am going to stick with them, really rate them.

Simon.

Unless you have GoodYears on the fronts I would avoid mixing tyres on a E61 M5...

At present Michelin are doing £50 off if you buy two or more tyres...

Event Mobile Fitting coming to mine on Tuesday as the Mrs managed to puncture one of the rears... £269 fitted for Pilot Sport PS2 * 275/35/19

It's an E39. I have Dunlop Sport 01's all round but, there is loads of tread left on the front ones so, would rather not buy 4 new tyres. Does it really make that big a difference having a different pair of tyres on each axle(as long as they are still decent tyres of course)? They are already a different size.
