I was packing the car up for the forthcoming Geneva trip last night.
Started the car up and noticed a flashing amber light emanating from the passenger footwell ( just beneath the glovebox).
I have never noticed this before, as I seldom drive the car at night!
No messages appeared on the display, and all seems fine
Is this something o do with TPMS?, should I be concerned?
Any advice welcome.....
Alan

Sounds very much like TPMS.

No message on the display??? Not sure why it's flashing then.

Perhaps it is calibrating itself ?? smile

It sounds very much like your TPMS system. It goes through a series of flashings until all four wheels have been picked up by the sensor after startup.. The box has five lights iirc one for each wheel and a main system light.

If it continues to flash after a short time then it suggests that a wheel sensor has gone. The relevant wheel led will flash after the others have gone out.

Occasionally a drive of over 20 minutes will reset the connection bewteen wheel and box, but if not prepare for a replacement sensor.

I'm going through the same myself.

Many thanks for the quick responses.
Hopefully it will reset, and if not I will get it looked at on my return.
Strangely the A26 autoroute out of Calais usually sets off the TPMS warning, so perhaps it knows what's coming!!!
Cheers
