What colour interior?
Discussion
My interior is grey and dark blue. I'm thinking of keeping the blue, because it covers the top area of the dash (behind the window), the roof and hood are dark blue and the carpets are blue. However, the grey is drab, the driver seat is worn and it needs a little update. I've been looking at the Furniture Clinic website and am a little stuck. I was thinking of a cream or ivory. Ideally, I'd like to add a little warmth. I know there are loads of people of here that have done this, so would like some feedback as to what would go well with the blue!!!!
Here is a pic of my current interior colour. Also, how do I get rid of the crease in the base of the drivers seat?

Chris, not a brilliant pic but this is my interior (magnolia and blue) set in a similar combination to yours, personally I think it goes really well.
The colour is quite light so Ivory may be going too far if your looking for "warmth"
The sag in your seat can be improved significantly by padding out the underneath of the seat with some hardboard or plywood between the foam and the wire supports, basically the wires are quite thin and act as a kind of cheese wire, cutting into the foam and creating sag.
The furniture clinic products will not take out the creases as they are now set in the leather but it will mask them massively and of course, with new colouring the creases will not have dirt ingrained into them, making them less apparent.

That really lifts the interior and looks nice. I was considering doing the door cards as well; replacing the carpet. The colour is quite light so Ivory may be going too far if your looking for "warmth"

I can't see magnolia, would it have been called something else on their colour chart?

If you call them they have a colour on file called TVR Magnolia,
If you do go down this route, hire their airbrush kit, for £25 it's a no brainer
Thanks for that. I have a compressor and was considering using an airbrush. What airbrush did you use and have you any idea what pressure it was set at?If you do go down this route, hire their airbrush kit, for £25 it's a no brainer
I'm not sure what airbrush it was, the make was Clarke, furniture clinic will be able to advise (on the invoice it just states mini air compressor)
Below is a pic of Ivory leather in my daily driver, it is very light and in my opinion, would be too much on a bright day with the roof down.

If you get an air brush it will have the rp in the kit it is low if you do the FC kit you will no be disappointed follow the tips on YouTube and don't panic on stage 1 and 2 it all come together when you use the air brush ( just donit)
They were pretty non-committal via e-mail when I asked them. I wanted to know whether it would be better using a gravity fed gun or a suction feed gun. I have a 9.5CFM compressor and brand new suction feed gun that I was thinking of using to achieve a fine covering and finish. I'll call them tomorrow and ask them what gun they send out in their hire kit. What did you use? Any images of the finished job?chris1972 said:
