Master cylinder and servo?

Hi all need to replace my master cylinder on the cerb so going to get the servo done as well , does anyone know what other cars they came off many thanks Darren

Mk 3 Fiesta is what you are looking for. The servo is no longer in production so TVR Power now charging £400 + VAT for one.

There is not much to a servo to go wrong unless the master cyl has leaked into the servo, that ages them prematurely.

Hi russ still have it but its stood in the barn for a long time going to get it all done for the summer ( hopefully this summer)

The servos are starting to show signs of rusting round the crimped join on the can (well mine is).

I can vouch for getting the pedal box out as being one of the worst jobs on the car. I'd rather drop the gearbox or diff than do that job again. :-(

The master cylinder is Orion Ghia Injection/ XR3i so this might be the same?

Do the servos go wrong or do you think I should just do the master cylinder

Here we go again.. if the pedal sinks its master cylinder, unless you have a leak, but you should see that (fluid leaking past a seal, corroded pipe, etc).
If the servo is goosed the pedal will be rock solid, but even making the steering wheel taco shaped cos you are pressing so hard, it won't stop. I had my servo pipe fall off so I know what it's like!!
To test the servo it's a spanner less test, pump the pedal without the engine running, until it goes solid, start the engine and the pedal should sink, this is the servo assisting, look for a rubbed through pipe first.

Thanks for the replays my servo is ok ( now) just wanted to know if they tend to go wrong as I will change it if they do
