Seats

Hi,I've been offered a clk an 02 I think. I don't know any details of the car yet because it's a friends brothers. Are these all 4 seaters or do they do a 5 seater . And in general are they any good or do they rust like most older mercs.thanks

generally good solid cars but they do rot around the edges.
all clks are 4 seaters.

Does anyone know if there's any engines that should be avoided or some better than others. Is there anything I should look out for especially because I'm completely new to mercs,
