Went for a little trip out today, blast up and down A17 and went as usual to my local TOTAL station for some of that Excellium top quality fuel, to find what looks like some budget supermarket chain has taken over, turns out its ESSO, but you wouldn't know by looking at it, its called "shop n save". They have something called Supreme unleaded, no details though. Apparently TOTAL isn't in the UK anymore and all the stations are either SHELL or ESSO.

I have alaways tried to put soooper jooce in the cerb, but running short of decent places to get it, can anyone recommend a good fuel and anywhere in south Lincolnshire where I can get it,
Cheers All

Isnt there a Shell near horncastle? We always fill there when we go to Cadwell.

I believe Esso supreme is 97 ron.

I mainly use V Power, I've used Tesco super unleaded a few times as well and that's always been fine too.

A17 sleaford ? Your not that far from us if that's the case ! Bourne / Deepings area.

All garages round here still pretty much doing a super unleaded of some sort.

Vpower in Deeping so just blast down the A15 instead of A17 and come see us all while your at it smile

the sleaford roundabout was a total garage I think, so presume thats the one which has changed. slim pickings in lincs, as fuel is more expensive in Newark? not sure of any shell garages sleaford way?

VPower here too.

At the very worst (if I'm really desperate), I'll put some of that BP premium stuff in, but VPower is defo the preferred choice smile

After the debacle a few years ago with Tesco's petrol destroying Cat's or whatever it was, my personal opinion is that supermarket fuel is best reserved for the lawnmower!

Cheers All,
There are a couple of Shell in Lincoln and one in Newark I can get to without much trauma, got the message, ShiDevil, dare say I'll pop down sometime.

Think the popular concensus is the V power, so thats my choice now,
Thanks to all,
Until my next minor crisis

My 4.5 Cerb runs on the low alchohol sort and I never have an issue.

Even on a (rare) stinking hot day it never pinks - even when I nearly stall it...
