Oh my that's a sad sight.
irreplaceable car i am sure it will be more than adequately insured
but still a car like that is about so much more than the money
my sympathy to the owner. I'm sure he will be devastated.
But the question has to be asked where was the on board
extinguisher? I always carry one regardless of the vehicle.
I would have at least made a token effort to save a car of
that pedigree!

I was thinking the same thing. They had the Ferrari there too, and lots of 458s seem to have extinguishers fitted. If anything, they could have asked the houses around them for one.extinguisher? I always carry one regardless of the vehicle.

They used to do this when new, non?
Yes the carbs can spit fuel onto the hot engine when running rich, stuck in traffic, surely there must be a work around for this by now though, you'd think the owner might have had a foam extinguisher in the car might have saved it for the sake of £30 outlay, if he was quick enough.Gassing Station | General Gassing | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
