What finish should I expect with Stainless???

Guys

I have just purchased stainless steel coolant pipes and new exhaust manifold. They has a lot of lines marked in the steel - like long straight scratch marks but they arent scratches IYSWIM. Not sure if you can see them in the pic below.

What should I expect on brand new stainless pipes - should they be free from any marks or does stainless mark up in the bending/manufacture process?

These pipes started off as descaled straight tubes with welded seam marks ranging from brown to blue colouration. Since then they have been cut, bent, rolled, scratched, work hardened, welded....of course they will be marked unless you have ordered them to be specially polished.
